A log of how I built out my affordable smart home over time
For those who are here just for the list of items I’ve used to add smart connectivity to my home, here you go:
- Smart Speakers Rs. 13,198 – 3 rooms voice input
- Retired. Google Home Mini ~ Rs. 3000 (Sold off to a friend)
- Google Nest Mini (2nd Gen) ~ Rs. 3199 (Paytm Mall)
- Google Nest Hub (1st Gen) ~ Rs. 7999 (Flipkart)
- Mi Smart Speaker ~ Rs.2000

- 2x <strong>Wipro Smart Plug 10A</strong> ~ Rs. 899

- Retired. Mi Smart Wifi Bulb ~ Rs. 1,299 (Retired cause it had a E27 base, Indian homes usually have a B22 base and the converter just made it look too long)
- Retired. Wipro Garnet Smart Light 7W B22 LED Bulb ~ Rs. 1,239 (Poor app experience)
- Retired. SYSKA 7-Watt Smart LED Bulb ~ Rs. 1,299 (Same as Wipro, just rebranded)
- 3x <strong>Philips Wiz Smart WI-Fi LED Bulb B22 9-Watt</strong> ~ Rs. 699
- 3x <strong>PHILIPS 9W e27</strong> ~ Rs. 829
- Streaming Devices Rs. 3699
- Retired. Chromecast 3 ~ Rs. 2999
- <strong>Mi Streaming Box 4k</strong> ~ Rs. 3699
